ABOUT US

International Gospel Outreach Canada is a non-profit organization that operates under the legal name of Verbo Christian Ministries.

Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ that will GO and transform people, families and nations through God's love, His Word and the power of His Holy Spirit.

Jesus gave some to be apostles, others prophets, some evangelists, pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints and the work of the ministry. God's vision is to see every believer being conformed to the likeness and character of Jesus, to work towards the unity of the body of Christ and to GO and make disciples of the nations.

The world shall know that we are His disciples by the way we love one another! At iGO, we emphasize practicing God's Word and doing things out of love rather than obligation or religiousness.

Why Our Name?

At iGO we firmly believe that every christian has the potential of impacting and changing the world through God's love by putting His Word into action! Jesus commanded us to do the following:

“GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Jesus called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to GO and preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick, set the oppressed free, heal the brokenhearted and raise the dead.

ATTEND ONE OF OUR GATHERINGS

Throughout this pandemic, the Lord has to lead us to gather in homes, restaurants, businesses and parks across the city in preparation for the times we live in, just as we see the early church would do it in the book of acts.
